women for peace retreat
Are you exhausted? Overwhelmed? Discouraged by the changing world around us?
The rollback of women’s rights and increase in gender-based violence is a pain we share across differences.
What if there were ways to disrupt collective feelings of anxiety, unsafety, and futility?
What if there were non-colonial wisdom practices to help us reclaim peace within so we can transform the world without?
The good news is…there are.
Join leadership coach and spiritual liberation activist Aina-Nia Ayo’dele for a 1-day retreat of self-restoration!
“We know that when a woman is violated on any level, everyone in her proximity is affected by that harm and for generations. We also know that when women have the tools to heal themselves and stand in their power, the possibility for a healthy and balanced life is accelerated and heals generations past, present and future.”
-Aina-Nia Ayo’dele

How it Started
How it Started
Aina-Nia Ayo’dele began Woman For Peace on International Women’s Day 2012, with the intention of creating a safe, accessible, community space for local women of the Greater Toronto Area. With the rise of socio-political, gender-based violence across the globe, Women For Peace recognized the urgency and grew from gatherings into a movement.
We believe that unifying all women, everywhere, through a shared culture of peace will ripple throughout families, communities and ultimately the world. We will create societies where women are seen, valued and safe. We will all rise.
